Scottfro began to delve into electronic music in 2002 when he was first exposed to jungle music. Soon after he purchased his first set of turntables and began spinning records. With a strong background in computers it wasn't long before he decided to tackle production. After much learning and experimenting he began to churn out tunes. After some time he felt the urge to expose his music to more people than the internet audience. He began to develop a live pa and played out at some of the local clubs and house parties in Lansing, Michigan. By late 2003 Scottfro was playing out monthly in his own city as well as out of state. In 2004, Scottfro and Zebo founded Irie Way Records, a label geared towards releasing music that carries a positive vibe. With two releases already under their belt, the label shows no sign of letting up. Currently, Scottfro resides in Vancouver, British Columbia where he continues to produce new tracks and share his music with the local crowd. His musical style ranges from melody driven jungle to triphop to IDM; merging all these genres into one unique sound.
