SPACEHOPPA are an audio-visual collective comprising of five artists who met through then worked together on the Internet. Not because they’re agoraphobic techno geeks but because they live on three different continents and the two that share a continent are separated by 10,000 miles. Bored with the limitations of the Internet Spacehoppa started to hijack passing satellites uplinks hence the name. Having crossed virtual paths they soon shared more than a passing interest in each other. Musical vision and visual mayhem collided and Spacehoppa was born. Spacehoppa’s music floats your brain reactivating the sediment of every drug you ever took and some you probably didnt but at times be as intense as a crackheads heartbeat. While the lo-fi visuals transport you to a place that lies somewhere between ‘The Jetsons’ and Terry Gilliam on LSD before disintegrating into a panoramic view of the binary suns of Spacehoppa world till the the final float up .
