The NIGHTCHILD band was created in Donetsk, Ukraine by Alexey "Nightchild A." Nikitchenko (vocal, guitar, programming) in the end of 2003. Alexey "Nightchild A." worked alone, the lyrics was written by virtual band member Nightchild M. aka Morticia Vampire, goth girl from Moscow, Russia. In the beginning of 2005 keyboard player joined the band and Alexey "Nightchild A." also began to write lyrics. With the help of Fritz Inferno (guitar, gothic metal band Inferno, Kiev) the first demo "Love+Blood+Death=VAMPIRE" appeared in the Internet. On the 12th of May 2006 the NIGHTCHILD performed their first show at "Angel's Heart" gothic party in Donetsk with Gray Angels (gothic electro, Kiev) and Izangel (gothic metal, Donetsk). After succesful performances in Kiev, Moscow (with Doppelganger, Braindead and Alliteration Kit) and again in Donetsk keyboard player left the band. Alexey "Nightchild A." as usual works only with his constant partner - drum machine Mr. Loopen'. In 2010 the bass player Holy Cat joins the band. In 2014 Alexey "Nightchild A." moves in Chernigov, Ukraine. In 2015 bass player Holy Cat left the band. in the fall of 2015 Sergey Andreev joins the NIGHTCHILD on bass and the band begins to perform live shows again. Current line up: Alexey "Nightchild A."
