Ветер Воды (‘The Water Wind’) is a Russian folk-rock band from Moscow. Their repertoire is influenced by historical events, ballads, fairy-tales, magic and romantic old legends as well as traditional European and Slavic music. In their desire to immerse listeners into the romantic atmosphere of the old times from the perspective of a modern person, the musicians combine the uncombinable: Russian and European, acoustic and electronic, academic and folk, modern and ancient. The band's repertoire includes traditional and original songs that will please the diverse audience that still remembers its origins and that cares not only about pressing problems but also about its history. The peculiarity of the band, its outstanding feature, is that all of the band members play multiple instruments - each musician plays at least three instruments. During its history the band has played with many famous bands and musicians such as Blind Guardian (Germany), Grave Digger (Germany), Edenbridge (Germany), Kari Rueslatten (Norway), Dmitriy Revyakin (the member of "Kalinov Most", Russia), some of them highly acclaimed the band's performance. The Water Wind also performed with the Russian State Symphony Cinema Orchestra conducted by Sergei Skripka, toured around Russia, gave concerts in Moscow musical clubs and participated in festivals.
