A HOME. A HEART. WHATEVER. are three guys (Tobias Mecklinger, Marcus Schreiner and Florian Zabel) from Munich/Weilheim/Augsburg, Germany. Official website: www.ahomeaheartwhatever.com Asking these guys for their motivation is like asking someone why he puts one foot in front of the other while running. The band already keeps their motivation within the probably best name ever, along with a healthy shrug. A danceable change of perspective, AHAHWE have no fear and are fortunately far from attempting to clone their considerable debut of 2010. The world has moved on and the fiber optic cables between the residences of the band members, Augsburg, Munich and Weilheim got some new space. This is filled by the three sound hobbyists still quite cheeky with everything the indie kit will bear. Indie, in the broadest sense. Electronically and acoustically, there are no limits - neather in the sound tracks nor in the ideas. From „1991“ to „Your Style, This Time“, almost every song is as emblematic as its title. The link is, besides Tobi‘s voice, a vibrant credibility that weaves the central theme since the early days of the band members. The result is again a pretty best of the ideas from the long years with the best friend: music. This best friend is still into catchy tunes, there is no doubt. Thousand allusions, thousand reminiscences, thousands of approaches, the unexpected, trials, errors and always moments of happiness: the thumb raised by the first time in the rehearsal room, goes out on the road to the car stop and eventually emigrated to the digital world. The main thing: it is up. As it says in the title track: „Keep The Beat“. Could also be keep the faith, the fire, whatever. It‘s about looking for something without giving answers. Actually, it has only one pilot, who is also the engine and wing: (be careful, the bad word!) The heart. »Same Same« is the logical development of a trio that eloped already with the prom queen on the debut in 2010. Now, the whole dance school is carried away.
