"Metalcore" band out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Forever the underdog, fighting for our place. New album, out Spring 2013, on Red Cord Records. Biography: Ace Augustine, hailing from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania was formed back in early 2008 by guitarist/vocalist Tyler Chadwick and original bassist, now guitarist, Spencer Barnett. The band played the local scene throughout high school and began to play shows in other parts of Pennsylvania in 2009 and were signed to Strike First/Facedown Records a year later. While the band did manage to do a few tours and get some looks their way, their revolving line up changes forced them to break up in 2011. But because of a large outcry from their fans, they decided to get back together in 2012 and began to write music even though they had no record label backing at the time. At first, they found themselves struggling with the same member issues as before so they decided to enlist new vocalist, Ryan Feister, new drummer, Josh Hess, and new bass player, Cody Owen, all of whom, except for Josh, had been around the band for a number of years and were all close, personal friends. With the new line-up and new songs that we're being written, they set out to find a new record label and home that would put out their new material. They found that home with Red Cord Records and quickly jumped on the opportunity by heading out to Rockford, Illinois to record their Sophomore Full Length on Red Cord Records. The new record features more melody and singing than The Absolute, while adding a new dimension and heaviness to the band with Ryan's wide vocal range. While they're are new faces to the Ace Augustine lineup, they should not be counted out. They bring a unique, melodic, emotional, and hard hitting sound to an overly saturated Genre.
