Formed late in 2007 by the former members of two local bands, In Mind's Eye & Wings of Icarus, Aldrin was created by "5 friends from Jersey who just like like to play music". In an era where pop-punk & emo has become a scene staple, Aldrin offers a unique new sound which blends Four Years Strong & All Time Low, making them appealing to a range of fans. They have caught on effortlessly with their catchy single "We Are Dead", which has hit almost 10,000 plays on their MySpace profile. After playing their debut show in Wrightstown, Aldrin has gone on to book countless shows in the area with notable scene veterans, such as Fire In The Eyes Of The City & Desoto Jones, & have an ever expanding fanbase of over 5,000 friends on MySpace due to their ability to connect so well with their fans. Currently, Aldrin is working on their debut EP with Dan Malsch (Forever The Sickest Kids, Punchline, The RoofTops) due out later this year. The EP, tentatively titled "The Wolf", will focus the story of the wolf with a combination of a set light show, as well as interludes all tying in to this story of a the 'fairytale land, after hours'. According to bassist, Colin Quinn, 19, the songs will tell a complete story, but also maintain their individual meanings, independent of the rest, making this unique to the staple idea of a concept album. As Aldrin's popularity continues to expand, they are on their way to becoming the next big thing, all before they have even graduated college. myspace.com/aldrinnj Aldrin consists of: Lou Ginsburg - Vocals Seanski Collinsgru - Guitar Jp Kelly - Guitar Colin 'Quinny' Quinn - Bass Jeff'ro Lehman - Drums Jon Merc - Lights/Samples Read more on Last.fm.
