Barry Mason is a UK based singer & songwriter who recorded a solo album for Magnet Records in the early 1970's, but is best known as a composer. He co-wrote dozens of hit songs popularlized by artists such as Tom Jones, Rod Stewart, Barbara Streisand, The Drifters, Englebert Humperdink, Charles Aznavour, The Fortunes, Edison Lighthouse, and Elvis Presley. His career peaked in the early 1970's, but his multi-platinum hits have sold over 60 million records worldwide…and still counting. Among his best known co-compositions are Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes) for Edison Lighthouse and Delilah a big hit for Tom Jones (as well as Flogging Molly). He more recently worked with Michel Legrand and continues to perform and record into the 21st century accompanied by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra and a band of today’s finest contemporary musicians like Ian Mack and Applejack Don Gould. http://www.barrymasonsongwriter.com Read more on Last.fm.
