Been Obscene

4 young musicians from Salzburg, 2 guitars, bass, drums & vocals – spiced with an ordinary dash of creativity. With this artistic mix Been Obscene creates, inspired from the sounds of the 70s, as well as Stoner and Alternative Rock, an extreme varied atmosphere. Driving riffs meet melancholic interludes, classic 4/4 beats complex rhythms and arrangements. A powerful, but sentimental up and down, that always finds its salvation in wonderful refrains. Been Obscene was already onstage with scene heroes like Motorpsycho, Fu Manchu, Brant Bjork, Colour Haze, Los Natas, Rotor and My Sleeping Karma and convinced the audience in particular with a warm, transparent sound wall, that is one of a kind. Previous highlights were the release of their debut album “The Magic Table Dance” on the German scene label Elektrohasch Records, the two album release shows at Arena Wien and Rockhouse Salzburg, the appearance at the Swamp Room Mania at Cafe Kult in Munich, the shows at DUNAjam 2010 and the Magic Table Dance Tour in Austria, Germany, Netherlands and Switzerland in Spring 2011.
