Bow Triplets is a Swiss based, international group of musicians (Ireland, Sweden, and Germany), who dedicated themselves and their work to Irish-Celtic music many years ago. They have en extensive repertoire of traditional Celtic music but also their own compositions are getting airplay in many countries around the world. The original band started playing together in 1989. The Bow Triplets always aim at presenting all aspects of Celtic music. Ancient laments are mixed with contemporary compositions, rhythmic instrumental jigs, reels and hornpipes with melancholic magic. The Irish-Celtic music is the cradle of American bluegrass, New Zealand gold mining ballads... yes even Scandinavian folkmusic cannot deny its Celtic roots influence and the multinational backgrounds of Bow Triplets' musicians have certainly influenced their interpretation of the music they love so much. They have established a very identifiable and very pleasing "Bow Triplets sound". Heidi Sigfalk : (Fiddle, Viola, Guitar, Voice) Brendan Wade : (Uilleann Pipes, Whistles, Guitar, Voice) Stef Sigfalk : (Guitar, Fiddle, Banjo, Mandolin, Concertina, Voice) Joe Eisenburger (Guest) : (Acoustic Bass) Read more on Last.fm.
