Born in Detroit, Michigan (the original music capital of the work), Charles "Gator" Moore is considered to be the most soulful male vocalist to emerge from this city since Marvin Gaye. Gator's experience as a seasoned entertainer began as a member of the soulful male trio called "The Transitions" spearheaded by Michael Bivins of the famed group New Edition. The Transitions were first featured on the Essence Magazine's first music ED entitled "The Love Songs" a., and their debut LP "Back In Da Days" was largely produced by Kay Gee of Naughty By Nature. BET premiered the groups first video of the single entitled "Ghetto Laws", where Gator (The front man of the group) unveiled his acting skills opposite Charlie Murphy (from the movie Harlem Nights & also brother to actor Eddie Murphy). Gator's vocal talents caught the attention of Hollywood film makers where his music appeared on John Singleton's Baby Boy movie and soundtrack, singing his soulful sex ballad "Straight F*****g, as well as Tyler Perry's movie and soundtrack, where Gator performs the stunning retake ofSam Cook's "Change is Gonna Come" In "Daddy's Little Girls". After being away from the industry from a while to work on his solo project, Charles "Gator" Moore is returning to the industry with the release of his mixtape "focused (Mixtape vol. 1). And the release of the soulful feel good single "Makin' It Feel" release date Jan 9, 2015. Making a comeback, Charles 'Gator" Moore is the R&B Soul artist that the industry has been missing.
