Crashpoint

Crossover/numetal band from middle of europe. Band came in to begining in small industrial town Studenka, Czech Republic in late 2000, band was called NOTIONEVE and played emo-core inspired music. After half a year band decided to move to more crossover/rap-core music and replaced post of singer and changed name to CRASHPOINT. After year of preparing new material and live producing they came together with Ostrava´s underground agency Corestaff. In 2003 the band decided to record their newest material and in march 2003 came out Point Of The Crash (demo) P.O.T.C. includes six songs written by the Crashpoint. Tracks are : All Of This, evileB, Blue Shadow, Rotting, Fellow and Gun In Your Hand. Band tried to mix music from more different styles and not to be clean-cut HC band. the Songs are quite colourful and you can find there hard core, hip - hop, funky, reagge and showed that the band like melodic vocals and heavy sound effected instruments. 2003 tour was very successful and the band became well known not only in Northern Moravia area. The band toured with Hazy Decay, The Korf ect. Year 2004 was year of personal changes when band replaced bassplayer to improve basslines. Also Dj came in to band with samplers, turntables and gave the band more nu-metal feel. Band wanted to make their first LP record so they made Crashpoint 04 Promo as a practise before they will start recording of LP.Crashpoint 04 - promo includes songs : Sun And Rain, Supersonic Filter, n.a.p.e.c , Blue Shadow, Comerciall, Space Adventure. 2004 tour as a support of the most prosperous czech metal/core bands like The.Switch, Dive, Jadewahoo, Shatter, HC3. Band also toured with Rumburax in Slovakia. In the fall 04 Crashpoint went to Fozy studio to start work on their first official album. In winter 2004 Dj and bassplayer left the band because of personal,studying and job problems caused of touring. The new bassplayer came into band in January 2005. Group started to play live again during finishing the record. In February 2005 went Crashpoint under Crystal Productions label. Their debut called Acid Vitamin is out since 1.December 2005 so now is the time to HIT THE STAGES !!!! Read more on Last.fm.
