DJ ENAM, people also know me by my real name "Enam Ahmed", I am an independent DJ who likes to remix songs, especially Bangla & Hindi Songs. Started Mixing in the mid-2003, I have successfully remixing some old Bangla Songs which are somewhat popular. With the aim to introduce Bangla Music to the world. My goal is to give people a new taste in music. I started creating songs when I was in 8th grade using Ejay. But back in 2003, I bought a few software like E jay Trance, E jay Techno, E jay hip hop and his all time favorite - FL STUDIO. Since then I started remixing and coming up with my own set of albums. I believe in sharing, so all are available for you to download and listen. I have to say -" I grew up around music " , and grew up around friends who enjoy music from different genre. Bangladesh have its own line of classical music. Before Habib or many others remixes were very common with these classical music. Although no one really knew what they were listening to, it was just some track. There were no albums, only some tracks that may have been modified with some beats and ambient music here and here. There was no concept of building a remix around a song, instead a song was cut in to a preordained remixed track. So some of my friends and myself included headed to creating exceptional music from scratch using classical bangla songs and known beats. And soon more friends supported my work and have already performed on many occassions lead me to turn in to a DJ. Tools of the Trade Personally I like to use different combination of tools and hardware. 1. My own ambition and Imagination on what sounds good and feels great. 2. FL-Studio - It may have taken some time to learn, but its a great tool. 3. A MiDi Keyboard - A simple MiDi keyboard to use for beat and other composition. 4. A simple turntable and a mixer for "on the move" live work. 5. A lastly a god forsaken PC - I simply believe that remix comes from within, its never about hardware or how expensive it is. 6. Always remember HARD WORK IS MADE OUT OF 100%, 10% OF INSPIRATION AND 90% OF SWEAT. performances and co-operation with other Djs I worked with many other DJ's who showed me to a few tricks and most of them had been involved with Bangladesh underground trance movement. Some even created some experimental works of art. I will try to list them in my blog. In the mean-time Here is a list of DJs I have worked with. * DMC BUNTY * DJ AKASH * DJ ADNAN * DJ UMER KHAN * DJ SID * DJ RUBEL * DJ PAPPU * DJ PRINCE * DJ MORS * DJ VIBE * DJ NIRJHAR * DJ RAINBOW FOREST * DJ JAAN *** Source - artist website www.djenam.com Read more on Last.fm.
