DJ Flare is an influential scratch dj with many vinyl releases. Flare was a member of the seminal turntablist group the Invisibl Skratch Piklz, appearing in many of their Turntable TV videos. He releases battle records under the pseduonym "Butchwax" on the Thud Rumble and Dirtstyle Records labels. He is also acclaimed for inventing the "Flare Scratch", a scratching technique in which a sound is split in two parts. He recently released a scratch DVD called "Magnifying Glass."
