Dodd Ferrelle transitions from Sonic Americana to Indie Pop to straight up country on 2009's “Lonely Parades”. After years on the road with the Tinfoil Stars, Dodd went solo with his 2009 offering and is currently finishing up what will be his second and third solo studio records in a span of 2 years. The pop/rock album “Hide the World” will be released September 2011 and the more acoustic album “Sucker Punch Town” will be released shortly thereafter. His band features Noel and David Blackmon, Jon Mills, David Vanwyk, Adam Poulan, Tim Adams and Brad Fowler. http://www.doddferrelle.com/ "Ferrelle captures a familiar American rock sound yet manages to convey the mood of the times. His guitar playing is admirable, his talent obvious and as distinctive as his voice." - David Harry, AMERICANA UK "Ferrelle and his band are the most promising roots-based rock act from the Athens area since the Drive By Truckers." Greg Nicoll, CREATIVE LOAFING "Weaned on the Beatles, the Replacements and the Waterboys, Athens' Dodd Ferrelle may not yet have the resume of his musical heroes, but he has the passion and talent to make even the most accomplished musician take notice."
