Two of Ireland's foremost traditional musicians, two Swedish musicians from the group Quilty and a Swedish jazz bass player in a hot meeting! A spectacular five piece band who have their own interpretation of Irish traditional music. Driving Irish instrumental dance tunes and ballads and stories from the vast store of Irish and Scottish songs. Eitre have played together since January 2003 and have made nine tours of Sweden and two tours of Germany until summer 2006. Eitre's first CD "The Coming of Spring" was released in February 2005.
