Ell & Nikki

Ell/Nikki (formerly, Eldar & Nigar) is the name of the duo made up of Eldar Qasımov (Ell) and Nigar Camal (Nikki). Gasimov and Camal took part in the Azerbaijani national selection for the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, Milli Seçim Turu 2011. They qualified from the semi-finals along with three other artists to the final on 11 February 2011, where they won the right to represent Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf, Germany, which they won. They have sung the song "Running Scared" written by Swedish songwriters Stefan Örn, Sandra Bjurman and Iain Farguhanson. Nigar Camal, born on 1 September 1980 in Baku, Azerbaijan, is an Azeri singer, currently living in London, United Kingdom, since 2005. In 2001, she graduated from the Khazar University, majoring in economics and management. She is married and has two daughters. Eldar Qasımov was born in Baku on 4 June 1989.
