EmpTV

Emptv is a mixture of emo, punk, grunge and alternative rock. The band was formed in Bialystok, PL, in spring 2003, by Piotr Sobaniec and Maciej Mozejko (denaturator). Michal Doroszkiewicz became their drummer and makes the core of the band, which lasts till present. As a natural consequence Krzysiek Wypior joined the group as a bass player. Because of his studies he was replaced by Pawel Suszczenia [II 2004], who also took over the role of a singer. In 2004 the band participated in Young Music Scene Festival Zgrzyty. Pawel's trip to USA [VIII 2004] forced the band to seek for a new bass player and lead singer. Autumn 2004 Krzysztof K. aka drhans from Deth Sniffers joined the group, and couple months later his friend Michal Jarmoszuk, also from Deth Sniffers, become the voice of eMpTV. Not long after that, Piotr Sobaniec, who couldn't reconcile the band and his studies in Warsaw, has quit. The new singer appeared to be the priceless recruit because he initiated the new changes in the band. Since then the music started to get the new sound, ambience and new meaning. In this composition the band decided to participate in another edition of the Festival Of Young Music Scene Zgrzyty 2005, where they got the Audience Reward for taking first place. In june 2005 Iza Mokrzecka joined the band and become the group manager. In the summer Michal K. [ trewqh from Bolo Young and Spirala] joined the band and with his help in march they released their first self-titled album.
