Görkem Han Jr.

Görkem Han Jr., born 1990 in Ankara, started his musical career in the Ankara State Polyphonic Choir of the Ministry of Culture of Turkey at the age of 6. There he continued his musical education for 8 years until he started to perform with many amateur and semi-professional rock bands in his middle and high school years. He performed as vocal/guitarist in concerts, bars and university festivals in many places in Turkey with the band he put together named Transpoze. His band Transpoze was voted number one band by the people in Kral TV's Konusarock program and he got a chance to make his first live TV debut. In 2008 he started to perform with a band named Enkaz. They released an album in 2010 and they toured all around Turkey. Then he left Enkaz and started his solo projects. In 2011 he recorded and released many demos in English on the suggestion of French producer Nicolas Dunoyer. He continues to perform as a DJ in many parties (Dubstep/Hard Electro/Minimal/Indie-Electronic/Lounge) since 2012. Görkem Han (Jr.) was influenced by the musical genres like downtempo/ambient/trip-hop and artists like Thom Yorke/Radiohead - Robert Del Naja/Massive Attack and Board of Canada since his childhood days.
