"If you find yourself in or headed to spectacular, nostalgic places this season, there’s no better accompaniment than Holley Maher‘s upcoming EP, Odd Place to Be." -ModCloth Style Blog Holley Maher is an independent singer/songwriter based in Nashville, TN. Her debut EP, "Odd Place To Be," released this January, is the "perfect introduction" to Holley as an artist. Recorded in Nashville with producer Thomas Doeve, who has also worked on projects with local indie icons like Andrew Belle and Amy Stroup, the EP contains five whimsical and "charming tunes" with a unique sound. Holley's style is modern and relaxed, yet displaying a playful spirit that is all her own, with subtle influences from folk and jazz music. Holley is an extremely well-rounded artist and credits her musical creativity to the time that she has spent studying other arts, like dance, theatre, and visual arts. She is also a talented graphic designer and does all of her own design work, including album artwork, concert posters, and her myspace page. Read more on Last.fm.
