There are at least two projects known as Hunab Ku. One was an obscure Goa Trance act that released the Magik Universe album in 2000 and a bunch of singles included in several goa trance compilations. Hunab Ku is also an avante-garde metal act based in Seattle, Washington. After the local success of their first EP, Hunab Ku teamed up with Black Sheep Records to release their first full length album, 'The Gaze Inward' in 2007. In 2008, Luke Jaeger - guitarist for fellow Seattle metal act Sleep Terror - officially joined Hunab Ku on lead guitar. In December of 2008 the band reissued 'The Gaze Inward' with Jaeger on guitar, and continues to write new material for a later release. For more information, visit http://www.myspace.com/hunabku.
