Hyperdex-1-Sect is an X-Marks the Pedwalk side project. In 1994 Sevren-Ni-Arb (André Schmechta) got a call from the label 21st Circuitry Records in the States. They wanted to commission him as songwriter, producer and engineer for a special project. Initial ideas and song-titles were constructed by Jonathan Sharp (frontman of U.K. industrial act New Mind) and were sent to Sevren who did the main composition, the sound-design, the main programming and also wrote the lyrics. He also decided to feature the backing vocals of Estefania on some tracks. Jonathan then provided additional programming and mixing. An early copy was released in Germany by Synthetic Symphony in 1997. For the "official" 21st Circuitry release in 1998 remixes by Empirion and Download were also included on the CD.
