Infra Black

Biography: The band was founded by Gabriel Wolf in 1990. former members: Kevin Wolf - guitar (1998 - 2002) Stephanie Kiss - female vocals (2001 - 2002) current line-up: Gabriel Wolf - vocals, lyrics, programming, artwork (1990 - present) Matthias Krieger - programming (2004 - present) Nola Darxley - additional sick voices (2004 - present) (Gabriel is also member/leader of "Finnugor", "Ywolf", "Aconitum Vulparia" and "The Flow" bands. Matthias was a former member of the local hellektro-punk band in Berlin, called "Hellectrode".) In the early days Infra Black played industrial music with metal and experimental elements. In 2007 Gabriel & Matthias decided to change their style into Terror EBM, but not in a typical way. They've been calling their style "Gore EBM". The base of their music has been feeding from the Terror EBM genre, but they use strong and dynamic bass runs, and catchy background melodies. Gabriel's screaming vocal style can remind the listener of Psyclon Nine or the more aggressive songs of Wumpscut. Gabriel doesn't use any special effects for his vocals aside from some distortion, as being an experienced singer/screamer for almost 20 years, he doesn't need anything like that. Lyrics of Infra Black are violent and gory, sometimes sarcastic in a bizarre, cruel way and they're using maybe the most extremely sadistic and sick movie samples in their music which (including all the other characteristics) makes their music outstanding in the whole Terror EBM scene.
