Jacob Allen (born 1995) is an singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from London, UK, currently writing under the moniker Puma Blue. He has also created music in differing styles under the names Butch Slims and Boss Nass. He has previously cited Jeff Buckley, D'Angelo, Radiohead, DJ Harrison, J Dilla, Mac Demarco, Billie Holiday, John Frusciante & The Jimi Hendrix Experience as major influences. His bedroom demo 'Only Trying 2 Tell U' was featured in NME magazine and received airplay on Huw Stephens' BBC Radio 1 show. After abandoning the use of his birth name as an artist, Jacob created the alias Puma Blue in 2015 and began to express his love of jazz with more emphasis in his music.
