Jenana was formed in spring 2005 by Kenneth Hujer, Ihno Homma, Christian Klenke and Felix Wolf. A weekend-demo-session was recorded in summer and released on their homepage. In September 2005 jenana recorded a few songs which appeared on March 16, 2006 on a split-12" with Me Succeeds as the second release of the phantom-label 'i saw music'. Three weeks after their debut-show, in February 2006, the band recorded the 4-track-EP "we need more great sentences like this" which was released by the chummy Berlin-based indielabel 'Kontraphon'. Their new EP "Evoke A Pop Avenue" which appeared on May 17, 2007 contains 6 songs and was produced by Gregor Hennig (Robocop Kraus, Die Sterne, Tenfold Loadstar). Meanwhile Jenana played more than 30 shows in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with bands like The Sunshine Underground, Figurines, Kante, The Bishops and Klez.e. They just finished their third big tour. Quelle: myspace.com/jenanatheband Read more on Last.fm.
