Kül

Formed in 2005, Kül is a modern rock/metal band from Ankara. The band members are: Arin Kusaksizoglu (vocals), Anil Yigit Filiz (guitars/back vocals), Akay Taskintuna (drums) and Bilen Oytun Peksel (basses). Previously played in different bands, these people found the sound they have been searching and started to make their own songs. They combined contemporary modern rock/metal sounds and tried to create a different "sound" from the dominant Turkish Rock understanding. They are succesfully presenting the musical sources they have been fed with. Established in 2005, Kül presented their first recording "Derin" in the same year; in Turkey's significant music contest Supersound2005 which was held under the lights of media and so many people on the net. After many local concerts, Kül had been prepared for an attempt to record their new songs to the next step and find a label. The recording finished in the summer of 2006. Two tracks ("Uykumuza" and "Derin") from the new recording can be listened from the related adresses.
