K. Gautier

Based out of Jackson, Mississippi, Kody has been composing and arranging music for almost a decade. Born with Synesthesia, he has always been in touch with the visual experience music has to offer, "Songs become a moving painting full of colors and textures. I've always enjoyed being able to close my eyes and immerse myself into a musical experience". Inspired by the neoclassical, post-rock, and score-style genres, He dreams of capturing the most epic landscape possible with his music, "I feel like I have to make the biggest music I can possibly imagine in order to do it justice...there's something beautiful about it". His music often includes delayed pianos, stacking string arrangements, ambient vocal textures, and post-rock-esque breakdowns. Lyrically, he writes with lines taken directly from the poetry he has written over the past few years. His words encompass emotional contemplations on his relationship with Jesus, his wife, and his reason for living.
