There are always going to be a select few sounds, samples, techniques, and modulations that are specific to the electronic scene. There are a also a select few that can use these techniques originally and creatively. That’s where Kami Kapnobatai comes in - the experimental producer takes what is assumedly standard garage percussion and toned out vocals and turns them into something other-worldly. The humble producer is able to take an idea grounded in a fluid melody, hone it in, shift its interchangeable layers and weave together an intricate tapestry of something which borders between meditative and nirvanic.
