Kenny Leaven

In 1982, a few moments after his twin brother, KENNY was born in Erfurt. In 1993 his development as a musician began, which didnt correspond to his mom at all, cuz she is a passionate ghospelsinger. Synthie- and New-Wave-Acts, Depeche Mode and New Order early influenced and guided his interest in electronical music. When he was 13 years old, his first turntable had to stand KENNYs premier trys in scratching and spinning and unfortunately his parents had the great possiblity to get used to fantastic Techno Sound such as PLASTIKMANs Panickattack or WISHMOUNTAINs Radio eventually they had to, cuz electronical beats were roaring day and night until the plaster fell off the ceiling. Suddenly, just like a finger flick, the young 17 years old KENNY LEAVEN played the first time in one of the most popular clubs of Erfurts nighltlife called CENTRUM. By now, the charming young man is one of the most famous Resident-Artists in Erfurt and he has produced diligently his own sounds since a few years to make progress as a musician and to reach his goals in this branch. This takes usually at locations such as the ATOMINO STUDIO ERFURT place, where KENNY is taught and inspired by Frithjof Rödel and Volker Wiegand. Not only extraordinary fresh beats with cheerful elements are striking, but also the naming of his tracks titles such as Wasabi or Feeling spicy are solely to associate with KENNYs other passion which is cooking and of course eating.
