Korpses Katatonik was a ritual industrial project formed in Austria in 1982 by Michael DeWitt, also founder of the cult label Nekrophile Records. The first and only Korpses Katatonik album was "Subklinikal leukotomy aphrenia spasmophilik lyssophobo asphyxia sinister lethal anorex" aka " Sensitive Liberated Autistiks" (NRC01), a tape released in 1983 and re-released on CD in association with Staalplaat Records. The Korpses Katatonik song, "Choronzon", appeared on the Nekrophile's various artists compilation "The Beast 666" (NRC03). The music of Korpses Katatonik was strongly influenced by the philosophy of Thee Temple ov Psychick Youth (of Genesis P-Orridge, ex-Throbbing Gristle). In 1984 DeWitt founded a new project, called Zero Kama, the first release "The Secret Eye of L.A.Y.L.A.H." became one of the most important releases of the ritual ambient genre. Read more on Last.fm.
