There is more than one artist with this name. 1) One Lanky is a New Zealand band, made up of Jim Laing (vocals, guitar, ex The Jean Paul Sartre Experience), Robert Key (drums, ex Cake Kitchen, The Expendables and the latest David Kilgour album), Noel Ward (bass, has appeard on all three of David Kilgour's solo albums), and Tony da Radd (guitar) The first album is called Wait (bloody good it is too) and was recorded at Arch Hill Studios in Auckland (www.archhill.co.nz). apparently it took a few years to record as various band members got distracted with overseas trips, having children, etc. 2) Originally from Wayne, NJ, singer-songwriter Lanky is now based in Houston, TX. He has released two studio albums: Inner Onwriter (2003) and Odd Hour Work Week (2005). Also available is a collection of six live songs recorded on the road, entitled Last Chance for a First Impression (2004). When he is not touring, Lanky can often be found playing such Houston venues as Rudyard's, The Continental Club, and DECO. Read more on Last.fm.
