“Hell is empty, all the devils are here,” – not just a quote from William Shakespeare, or the chorus hook from the song “House on the Hill”, but an attitude……… an outlook on a music scene that has been recycled and rehashed, redone and reborn, and infested with everything from emo to fame whores who can’t sing – as well as an outlook towards a society that’s as plastic as it is narcissistic. Marion Crane doesn’t wish to change this. To think it could be changed, would be pretentious. No, they’d rather play the game, infiltrate the system, and then turn it on its head. Founded and led by S. Thomas Crane, their music is dark and sarcastic , but it has hooks. Hooks that will repeat in your head while you try to sleep at night – causing you to hum sweet lemmings about vomiting estrogen and being stabbed with an adrenaline needle. They are not role models. They are not spokespeople. They are not interested in saving anyone or anything. The goal is simple: to put a stake through the heart of mainstream rock music. To conquer the beast and then burn the house down. This will undoubtedly cast Marion Crane as the villain, and they willingly accept this. “Your love brings out the suicide bomber in me”, not just a lyric, but a state of mind. "Kamikaze" is available for download on the official website: www.marion-crane.com, as well as iTunes, Amazon, Napster, and Shockhound.
