Mathhead, real name Benjamin Deitz has ventured into the realms of two completely different genres and created a unique soundclash bringing the breaks and kicks from the breakcore scene and merging it with some of the finest heavy bass offerings NYC has to offer, to which he is now renowned. The kids are getting dirty on the dance floors stateside to the sounds of Mathhead, ever since he exploded into the scene in 2006, releasing Dirty Deeds 12" on the Terminal Dusk print and The Most Lethal Dance 12" & CD on Reduced Phat and towards the end of 2006 saw a collaboration with Drop the Lime; Trouble & Bass 12" on AD AAD AT. As well as featuring on various compilations on labels such as Flamin' Hotz, Mirex, Ruff (Peace Off). A fully pledged member of the Trouble & Bass NYC party crew. With the Trouble & Bass reputation building in NYC and venturing out with, the future surely looks bright for Mathhead, already with two releases to his credit in 2007.
