Mustafa Yoda A.k.a. Frestylity is one of the Argentinean milestones of Hip Hop. He succeeded in year 1998 with “La Organización” (“The Organization”), the first great group in the local scene, which revolutionized the way of building and understanding hip hop culture into his country. In the ending of year 2001 he splited up of “La Organización”, just before the album release of the group which could only be gotten into the black market. This freestyler makes every stage or cypher, a ring where almost nobody dares to step. His incomparable skill to interlace words and improvised phrases have taken to him to the status of a living myth into the argentinean underground, reputation that also covers different spanish-speaking countries. This ability has given him a chance, after so many years of activity into hip hop culture, of recording his first single album, launched on may 2004 and produced by the independent label “Sudametrica Entertainment”, after the fact of refusing different multinational labels proposals. “Cuentos De Chicos Para Grandes” (“From Children to Adults´ Stories”) is the name of the LP. The beats are in charge of Andino (Andrés Proaño) from Louisiana (U.S.A) and also of Dj Manuvers of Counterflorecordings from Miami, which is one of the best underground hip hop labels of international recognition. The album contains 14 tracks in which there appear the featurings of Fidel Nadal (Todos Tus Muertos), Dj JP Scaglia (three times and invincible National Champion of the DMC), Miranda (of FDA group from Chile), Apolo Novax (ex integrant of “La Organización”, Koxmoz), Sandoval (Sudametrica), Manu, Diego (Mester De Juglares), Monty, MIC, Zac (Tao Te King). The official and introducing concert of the album was made in June 2004 at Metropark Skatepark in Buenos Aires; the work acceptation and repercussions of the disc gave Mustafa Yoda the opportunity of presenting him in a wide range of places into Argentina and abroad. Numerous concerts has he given all along his single career and, despite the fact that only the presence of Mustafa Yoda on the stage guarantees an impacting show, it is just the exact combination between talent and charisma that has taken him to share shows with many famous artists in the rap scene: Anita Tijoux, from the group Makiza; Los Brujos (U.S.A); Violadores del Verso (España), Afu Ra (U.S.A.) and much more. The Last great show was in October 2004 at Obras Sanitarias Stadium of Buenos Aires in which came toghether 3000 people to the Hip Hop Killah Nightz Festival where the great artist was Raekwon from Wu Tang Clan. There is no doubt that this will mark a time before and after into national hip hop culture. It also meant the first time that an international artist of trajectory was presented in Argentina and did this, in company of other integrants of Killah Beez Corporation as Cilvaringz, Barracuda & Dj Sueside. The importance of his shows summed to his great and developed career, gave Mustafa the chance to show his music and share scenery with many stars of other musical genres like argentinean rock music: Vicentico (Ex singer of Los Fabulosos Cadillacs), Las Pelotas, Catupecu Machu, Kapanga, Arbol, and Miranda betwen others, standing up into general argentinean music scene and giving shows into different cities located all over Argentina like Cordoba, Mar del Plata, Tucumán, Salta capital, Orán (Salta Province), Güemes (Salta Province), La Rioja and Santiago de Chile. As every pioneer, he has his following troop, so as his crew of mc´s who have learnt of him the art of freestyle. Many of them have today become part of Sudametrica, the group of freestylers that Mustafa leads. The trajectory of this mc was told and followed by different international magazines as follows: Blaze (U.S.A), La Banda Elástica, Hip Hop Nation (Spain), Zona de Obras, Trapos Sucios, Back Spin (Germany), and from Argentina: Buenos Muchachos, Inrockuptibles & Rolling Stone whose magazine has catalogued his album as one of the 50 best discs of year 2004. This and other mass media work have diffused his achievements, motivating in this way the development of the outstanding single career of Mustafa Yoda. The Sudametrica´s compilation, supervised by Mustafa, is to be launched by this label and will count with the presence of international artists like: Barracuda (Wu Tang Killah Beez), Cilvaringz (Wu Tang Killah Beez), Sala Edin (Arap Crew), Juaninacka (España), Soarse (Botanica El Jibaro), Dj Manuvers (Counterflow Recordings), Koala Contreras (Chile).
