My Fictions is 4 piece hardcore band from Massachusetts. They released a split EP with Aviator in November 2010 and a 5 song EP called "I Want Nothing" in June 2011. Flannel Gurl Records released "I Want Nothing" on vinyl in October 2011. The band released the 7" "Always Trapped" on Topshelf Records in 2012, following up with a split with The Saddest Landscape via Topshelf Records in 2013 ("When You Are Close, I Am Gone"), and releasing their first LP titled "Stranger Songs" on Topshelf Records in summer 2014. "Cut from the same cloth of today’s most influential hardcore, My Fictions are a force to be reckoned with. They are unapologetically heavy. Deliberately tense. Manically varied. Though their influences number among acts like Pg. 99, Converge and American Nightmare, the family My Fictions has been born into is one that is revolutionizing the genre today. Since forming in Massachusetts’ Merrimack Valley in 2010, the band has shared stages with Circle Takes The Square, Loma Prieta and The Saddest Landscape over the course of a summer tour and several weekends. 2012 will see an added release to their discography (I Want Nothing, a split with Aviator and a 2011 demo).
