There are many bands that go by the name 'Nightcats'. Two are mentioned below. I. One of the busiest bands on the Gothenburg blues scene in the early 90's. Recorded two CD's, "Got Blues If You Want It!" (BUZZ-8002, 1992) and "Tune In The Blues!" (BUZZ-8003, 1995). In '96 Bo Carlsson launched Mr Bo & The Voodooers. Lars Mellqvist remained steady by his side but was also a member of The Al Tehler Blues Band. Jim Ingvarsson went to play with The Instigators, Bluebirds and Paul & The Blue Delivery. And Lasse Olsson concentrated on his own projects. Personnel: Mr Bo (a.k.a. Bo Carlsson) - vocals, guitar Jim Ingvarsson - drums, Lars Mellqvist - bass Lasse Olsson - vocals, guitar, harmonica II. Jonas Bering & Thierry Mbaye. K2's now reached a point where it's beginning to seduce long term members of the kompakt fraternity into its oily grasp - here Jonas Bering teams up with Thierry Mbaye for a breathy, chicago suffused zinger on "inside" - an anonymous siren call from inside a wall of extruding bass, emanating warmly from a central dancefloor location. "Ginger" tanks it out good - establishing trainspotter geek links for the observant listeners, successful in tying it back to Jurgen Paape's inaugural kompakt twelve "triumph". Nu rave anyone ?
