Novo Amor and Ed Tullett first crossed paths in November 2013. After showing an immediate appreciation for each other’s work, Ed, based in Brighton, spent time at Novo Amor (Ali Lacey)’s Cardiff home-studio, writing collaborative material. The pair released their first collaborative single, "Faux", via Brilliance Records and Dumont Dumont, in June 2014, and followed it up with "Alps" in April 2016. They are currently working on a full record together. Both artists have also been working on their own material, with Oxford-born and Brighton-bred songwriter Ed Tullett releasing his ambitious debut, Fiancé, via Monotreme Records in February. Novo Amor, the moniker of Cardiff based multi-instrumentalist Ali Lacey has been equally busy since his mystical debut ‘Woodgate, NY’ EP came out on Brilliance Records in 2014. Lacey’s latest offering ‘Anchor’ has reached over 2 million Spotify streams since its release in November. He is currently recording his next solo EP. Read more on Last.fm.
