Chamber Assambly of Mysłowice City "Pro Arte Et Musica" was established in 1998 . Previously consisting of only few people it soon evolved into a chamber choir and then into vocal and instrumental group. The opportunities given by this group evolution had crucial impact on the repertoire chosen since then. Next to a cappella pieces the group started to perform religious masterpieces. Chamber Assambly is consulted by music specialist which is very helpful and precious for stylish interpretations of the performed pieces. Professionalism mainly based on intensive work of the group was appreciated not only by music lovers. The prestige of Assambly increased thanks to frequent invitiations to festivals, concerts in Poland and abroad. The authorities of Mysłowice city noticed the activity of the group and on 8 September 2000 they took patronage over the Chamber Group in recognition of their achievements in the field of music as well as of the city promotion. Concerts in Austria (Vienna), where the critics of music valued artistic quality of their performance, are found to be the greatest success of the group. On 1 December 2001 Chamber Assambly specially invited by Wiener-Krakauer Kultur-Gesellschaft, performed in the famous Viennese Schӧnbrunn Palace on the occasion of international „Weihnachten rund um den Globus” exhibition.
