Patty Moon are a Black Forest, Germany folktronica / trip-hop duo of Judith Heusch (composition, piano, & vocals) & Tobias Schwab (arrangement, production, piano, keyboards, guitar & bass). Patty Moon's style is beguiling / irritating sounds full of profundity, sometimes sad, sometimes spiced with a bit of irony and of perfection - Their sound has deep rural roots. For years the band has lived and worked in a small village near the Kaiserstuhl in the southwest of Germany.Patty Moon are sophisticated sounds created during endless night sessions by puzzling noises, rhythms and loops. It is mainly the voice of Patty which adds colour and magic to the songs. Her voice is warm and of melancholic fragility and she s enthralling and enchanting from the very first note. The sound fanatics around Tobias Schwab tirelessly work on the master pieces, until musical density and lyrical intensity match to represent the perfect Patty Moon song.
