PleasureBurn is: Jonathon Zacker : Vocals, Programming Brent Simmons : Guitars, Programming Henry Esquivias : Guitars Pleasureburn takes a step towards the future by taking a lesson from the past. With a sound reminiscent to the likes of Alice in Chains meets taproot, Pleasureburn seeks to fuse elements of other genres such as pop, middle eastern & folk to create a familiar yet unique sound in today's world of Lady Gaga & Owl City fueled cookie cutter pop. PleasureBurn's debut album 'Temporary Infinity' has been a hard fought battle to completion. From the passing of vocalist Justin Juris, to the revolving door of talent that has graced the stage, it has truly been an uphill battle. Pushing through the seemingly countless roadblocks, the founding members pushed through it all, to bring the album to fruition. Pleaseburn now sits comfortably with two former members of the band Relight, Jonathon Zacker on vocals and Brent Simmons guitar, and PG guitarist and vocalist Henry Esquivias handling co-guitar duties. Mixed by Paul Lapinski(Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Allele), their debut album 'Temporary Infinity' is now complete and will be released in October of 2011. Temporary Infinity is definitely a concept album, from the music, to the lyrics, the themes and even the artwork, this album is bigger mere pieces of the puzzle could possibly dictate. A full listen to the 12 songs that comprise the album will tell the tale of the full journey of what Pleasureburn likes to call Temporary Infinity. With highs & lows, happiness, anger, sadness and joy, this album will lead you through each emotional spectrum. Ending with the longest track on the album "Puppies", the album reminds the listener to take everything in, experience life, be angry, be sad, be happy...but at the end of the road...these infinite emotions we feel are only as infinite as we can temporarily experience...so don't take it too serious, it's just entertainment folks & it's just life, live it.
