Radio Dead Ones

RADIO DEAD ONES are: Beverly Crime – Vocals Rik Oldman – Guitar, Vocals Ändru Bourbon – Bass Sonny – Guitar TV Moerk – Drums, Vocals Radio Dead Ones started in Berlin, Germany in 2003 when the four friends decided the punk rock scene needed a kickstart. From early on, they started playing in Berlin and surrounding cities and they soon gained a reputation for being an outrageous live band, blowing audiences away wherever they played. Soon people were asking for recordings of the band and they went into their own RDO Drinking Room studios to start blasting out some songs. The results were three 7” singles which were quick to sell out: Out Of Tune which was released on their own Guitar Mafia Music label, Holy Ghost released on Squoodge/Drunk'n'Roll, and a split single with Frontkick released on GMM. Finally, in October 2006 they released a 12” of 6 new songs on Wanda Records. Since then, the buzz around Radio Dead Ones has been growing and the band have been in the studio working on songs for their first full-length album to be released early 2008. These will be the first recordings to feature their new 2nd guitar player Sonny who joined in early 2007. The European punk rock scene is bristling with excitement over a new wave of bands like Radio Dead Ones, who are slowly starting to burst out of the underground as word spreads throughout the mainland. Look for an upcoming European tour supporting Dropkick Murphys, a new EP with Texas Terri Bomb, and tons more touring over the next year.
