Resurrection Eve are a 3-piece Australian gothic darkwave/futurepop group; featuring Jordan Robbins (vocals), Mark Railton (programming) and Mav (live guitars). Since their formation, they have released three albums and have performed live many times, notably including a performance at the Wave Gotik Treffen festival in Leipzig. Their work combines the gentle melancholy sensibilities of gothic music with the driving power and upbeat nature of futurepop. Their name, "Resurrection Eve", relates directly to the many religious and spiritual themes that are explored in their lyrics. Their debut album, Ancient Curse, was released in 1999 by Bloodmusic/Nightbreed, and has subsequently been deleted. Their sophomore album, Rapture, was released on the 14th of December, 2002 by Ground Under Productions. Their third album, Ascension, was released during March 2006 by Ground Under Productions/Endless Records. Official website: http://www.resurrectioneve.com/ Read more on Last.fm.
