There are, at least, three bands named Scapa Flow: 1) A Swedish ebm / synthpop band. 2) A Finnish prog rock band. 3) An Australian post-punk band. 1) A synth pop / electronic body music band, formed in Uppsala, Sweden, in 1988 - now disbanded. Beginning as a band of four, there were soon only three original members left in the band (Andreas Carlsson, Johan Nygren, Carl Sjöström). During 1989-1995 they made frequent live shows, including a Germany tour in 1991 with Pouppée Fabrikk. In the last years of activity (ca 2000) they had some good help from guest musicians, and what once was a pan-electronic band operating on rather old-fashioned synthesizers gradually turned into a semi-acoustic, computer assisted one. 2) A Finnish 'prog rock' / folk rock band, which released the Uuteen Aikaan album. 3) An Austrailan pop / 'post-punk' band from Sydney, appearing on the compilation album Can't Stop It! II - Australian Post-Punk 1979-84. They release at least 2 seven inch singles as well. Read more on Last.fm.
