"This duo features Vienna-born keyboardist Richard Schonherz who has written music for full orchestra as well as soundtracks for Austrian films and television projects. A native of San Francisco, Peter Scott studied guitar privately, then enrolled in the Musicians Institute of Technology where he concentrated on composing and arranging. Both artists have played a wide variety of styles over they years, from classical and jazz to rock and blues. "Shortly after the two musicians met, they began producing a series of pop demos as well as a series of instrumental selections. The latter became the basis for the duo's 1987 Windham Hill debut, One Night in Vienna. Their pop demos provided the impetus for a second release, Under a Big Sky, which includes vocal tunes as well as more pop-oriented instrumentals." - All Music Guide / allmusic.com Here on LastFM they are credited in the large artist group known as "various artists", due to their appearance on several of the Windham Hill sampler discs.
