Sprung Monkey started selling CDs out of their trunks in San Diego around 1991, but these days you're more likely to see them on MTV. Or in movies like "Dude, Where's My Car" and "10 Things I Hate About You". Or on TV with Conan O'Brien. Or on the Billboard charts, where "Get 'Em Out of Here" made the top ten Alternative list. But while Sprung Monkey made their name in surf, skate, and snowboard flicks, they earned their reputation on the road. Tours with Blink 182 and the Offspring and slots on the Van's Warped Tour and ESPN's X-Games introduced loads of fans to this kick-ass So Cal band, and 6 Australian tours (so far) made them a worldwide phenomenon (or Angus Young's love children, at least). Which brings us to the reason we're here: "Get A Taste". Sprung Monkey's newest CD combines the raw energy of "Swirl" and "Mr. Funny Face" with the experience and inspiration of a band that's been through it all. With previous discs selling in the hundreds of thousands, Sprung Monkey takes things to the next level--"Get a Taste" has more hooks than a meat locker and more attitude than Johnny Knoxville's jock strap. Sprung Monkey 2002, but reformed in 2005. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
