Suppurate System

Originally coming together to form the accessories brand of the same name, "total-art-unit" Suppurate System formed in 1996 in Tokyo, consisting of MIKAEL and RYONAI (BLAM HONEY). They began making music in 1999, stating that they wanted to create art by using not only design, but music and performance as well. They released two cassette EPs in 1999/2000, "Affekt Pendule" and "Feather Disperse". Both tapes came in two versions, "Affekt Pendule" and "Feather Disperse" with A Type and B Type. From 2001 to 2009 , Suppurate System stopped all musical activity focusing on accessories that have been used by various Visual Kei artists, such as Mana, Közi, Kaoru, Kaya, GPKISM and BLOOD. In 2009, they made a cover of Blam Honey's song Providence. MIKAEL's vocals can be heard on various Blam Honey songs, such as Enita and Uterus. Contrary to popular belief, she is female. She also collaborated with CygnosiC on their cover of Changing Spout In My Head. Her identity is unknown. In 2014 Suppurate System's site was shut down and Ryonai stopped updating his social media.
