www.tKatKa.com tKatKa (pronounced 'Te-Kat-Ker') is a Swedish / English electronic music duo based in London, England. The project is an ambient/electro/techno collaboration between musicians/producers PJ Norman and Carlsson. The group formed officially in 2004. Their first release was on a compilation for the Glass Shrimp show on Resonance FM in early 2005. In late 2005 a white label of their track "Lazerslab" was broadcast by the influential BBC Radio 1 DJ Annie Nightingale. This led to a record deal with the independent London label Junkbait Music. In 2006 they released two well-received singles ("Lazerslab" and "Bedroom Dust"), which won them much support from specialist electronic press, radio and DJs. In 2007 they built on this with their highly regarded full length self-titled album on 100m Records. PJ Norman often performs live with sound artist Matthew Rozeik, and both PJ and Carlsson also perform with the guitar 4-piece Death by Sadie who have been described as a 'vivid alchemy of punk and post-rock' by UK press. Both artists are members of the 100m collective and continue to pursue solo side-projects too, PJ Norman with Iamprimate, and Carlsson with tseuq. Read more on Last.fm.
