2007-2010 Formed in 2007, The Bridgeheads (originally The Bridge) were a London-based alternative band (although the band prefered their music to be characterised as expressionism). Originating from Slovakia, the line-up consisted of Tomas dAsK (vocals, guitar, piano, songwriting), Joseph Lemee (guitar, piano) and Michal Wisp (drums). In the same year The Bridgeheads released EP ‘Things’ and have built a devoted following with their personal live performances. Tomas dAsK died after an accident on September 27, 2010. The band has spent approximately 3 years making their debut album called ‘Foreigners’, and the amount of work and unique talent can be heard all over the record. Available from 22th May in a rather inventive way, all 11 songs on the album are released as a free digital download and fans, in return, are asked to recommend the record to others in case they like it. Simultaneously, in the spirit of the band's artistic roots, a one-off original handmade release is made available on auction containing: 1) the 12th song no one else will be able to hear apart from the actual owner; 2) the original framed oil painting, drawings and handwritten lyrics made by singer Tomas dAsK for the album cover; and 3) signature from all three band members. Physical release date is yet to be announced.  dAsK also decided to make 11 videos entirely on his own (including direction, editing, lighting, post-production, camera and animations) to give each song on the album an equal value. All the videos had been gradually published on The Bridgeheads official website. The band then started touring in England and Slovakia. The tour did not last long, only until the tragic death of dAsK ten days after he fell off a window on September 17 2010. Read more on Last.fm.
