The Rockfords (or more accurately, 'the rockfords') were a Seattle project band formed by friends who had already tasted success with their respective bands; Carrie Akre, Chris Friel and Danny Newcomb of Goodness and Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready. They were also joined by Rick Friel on bass. Their solo self-titled studio album was released on Epic in 2000, which featured Nancy Wilson (of Heart) contributing guest vocals on the track 'Riverwide'. Read more on Last.fm.
