ATTENTION! THE LEECH is now called Coming Through in Waves! THE LEECH is a German rock band which was founded in early 2004. The music deals with general rock, synthesizers, experimental sounds and progressive & industrial elements. The members are Felix Zeyss (Composer, guitars, synths), Florian Wein (Singer, lyrics, synths), Veronika Schneider (E-Bass) and Christoph Klöcker (Keyboards, piano). There have been no CD-outputs yet, but the band is deeply into writing new songs currently in 2005/06. Different influences of other bands like Tool, A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, Mogwai, Aphex Twin, Skinny Puppy or Gary Numan can clearly be seen. Nevertheless the music is supposed to describe a novel and own style. The lyrics are usually about the dark side of human behaviour, personal feelings, murderings, the apocalypse, love in strange expressions and a hopeless world. Lyrical influences are Till Lindemann (Rammstein), Franz Kafka, Gottfried Benn, Nivek Ogre (Skinny Puppy) or Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails).
